Badenoch & Strathspey Minibus Association

In the late 1970’s, The Rotary Club of Spey Valley assisted the Education Committee of Highland Council in the purchase of Minibuses for use in Badenoch & Strathspey. It was agreed that the operation of this transport would be carried out by the newly formed Badenoch & Strathspey Minibus Association, BASMA.

The Objects of the Association
For over four decades BASMA has aimed to achieve the following Objectives:
  • 1
    High Quality
    To provide minibus transport for School pupils as well as constituted third sector community groups and organisations working for the benefit of those living in the Badenoch & Strathspey area.
  • 2
    Good Support
    To support Residents of Badenoch & Strathspey to improve their quality of life.
Qualification for Membership
Membership shall be open to any of the following who support and promote the Objects of the Association on payment of an Annual Subscription Fee
  • Any School that is under the control of Highland Council and located within Badenoch & Strathspey.
  • Any Third Sector Community Group or Club operating within Badenoch & Strathspey.
  • Any individual over the age of 16 who is normally resident in Badenoch & Strathspey.
