MIDAS is a national scheme to enhance the driving and passenger awareness skills of minibus drivers. MIDAS is not a legal requirement but Highland Council require all minibus drivers to have one which is accepted FULL INFORMATION
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MIDAS CERTIFICATE
MIDAS Assessments are carried out by Community ConnXions in Aviemore. This is a 2 Part assessment, first part online, with a question paper at the end which you must pass. The second part which can be done another day, is a driving assessment carried out on the road. The Assessments are booked directly with the Assessors at:

They will let you know what you must do and please tell them you will be driving the BASMA Minibus, as BASMA will pay for your first assessment.
